Per Bengals.com editor Geoff Hobson the Bengals final roster move will be made tomorrow prior to the teams practice. It is expected that the team will place receiver Andrew Hawkins on injured reserve designated to return, which would keep him out until sometime after the first 6 games. Multiple media outlets also have the team will be re-signing offensive tackle Dennis Roland since the health of Andrew Whitworth is still in question after not appearing in any preseason games and not practicing for several weeks. The team also gave former starting linebacker Thomas Howard a workout today but it is unclear whether he will be re-signed yet to provide more LB depth.
In addition there is currently still an open spot on the teams practice squad and there are also many media outlets reporting that the team will sign former Jets QB Greg McElroy if he clears waivers.
